Self-improvement, or at least the desire for it, is a shared nationwide hobby. It’s why so many, around 40% of the population, make New Year’s resolutions, often which promise to lose weight or get fit. But, for all the good intentions, only a tiny fraction keep or achieve their New Year’s goals, in fact only around 8%. ‘Your Next Move’, a newly launched, Worthing based company built on passion, health and well-being, supported by none other than Worthing’s ‘#CoolTownCrier’, Bob Smytherman, aims to help make sure residents of Worthing keep their resolutions in 2015 and will be officially launching their business with a fun bell ringing twist.
The company, founded by local athletes, Emma Macready, three times England 10k representative and Sussex Cross-Country Champion and Martin Footman, reigning Sussex 3000m Champion, aims to help individuals keep resolutions and incorporate exercise into everyday life.
“Have you ever started a fitness programme and quit, or felt like you’ve just not made any progress? We’d like to encourage those who’ve experienced these problems to try our brand new ‘fitness training with edge’. Whether you want to exercise for fun, improve sports performance or train for competition, ‘Your Next Move’ should definitely be allowing us to guide and support you.
“Our group is built on passion, Emma and I want to promote being active for life. Over the past few years we have gained a massive amount of experience, through our own sporting successes and also sports related careers, Emma as a P.E. teacher and myself as a personal trainer. We feel now that we would like to pass on our passion to others and ‘impart our sporting wisdom’.”
“Not everyone is cut out to be an athlete but we can all enjoy sports in our own way. Your Next Move incorporates regular group exercise in the form of bootcamp and high intensity Metafit, targeted small group work or personal one on one sessions and guidance.
“Whatever you choose our programmes are designed to affect the whole person, which for us means achieving the right balance between body and mind.
